Sharpe Suiting: Formalwear that Fits You

Revolutionary designer Sharpe Suiting wants you to feel comfortable and confident on your wedding day and all year round. They’ve already made a splash on the LGBT scene with their bespoke suits and tuxedos, lauded by butch women, gay men, and transgender men alike. Now, Sharpe Suiting has introduced a new ready-to-wear collection that includes overcoats, blazers, suits, and dress shirts.

“Sharpe has plenty of experience fitting and suiting for weddings, and this collection comes directly from that work, with everyone’s special occasions in mind,” says chief designer and owner Leon Wu. “They’re formal, bold, and able to be reinvented to take you from the ceremony to the dancefloor at the reception.

Using their patented Andropometrics formula that accounts for more than 4,000 real-life measurements of today’s body types, the line suits the modern wearer better than the classic off-the-rack measurements that the queer community is used to settling for. Hallmarks of the line include contrast-stitch detailing, slim fit cuts, and modifications to the shape and position of pockets, resulting in an edgy classic modern style with a nod to old-world aesthetics.

The Easton, a classic white luxury long-sleeve dress shirt, is versatile enough to go from the office to cocktail hour. Dress it up with the Varney blazer, a maroon with black trim single-breasted design; for a more formal look, choose the slim-fit Kacy classic black tuxedo.
